Data Deletion Instructions

What Data We Store

When you create a CatanForge account, we store:

Your email address
Your display name
Your authentication provider (email, Google, or Facebook)
Your custom maps (names, descriptions, rules, tile configurations)
Your favorited map list

How to Delete Your Data

    Option 1: Delete Individual Maps
    Open CatanForge and sign in
Go to the Custom tab in the game board selector
Click on the map you want to delete
Click Delete

  

Option 2: Delete Your Entire Account

To delete your account and all associated data (maps, favorites, profile):

Open CatanForge and go to Settings (gear icon)
Under Help, tap Contact Us
Select "Account Deletion" from the category dropdown
Include the email address associated with your account in the message
Submit the form

We will delete all your data within 30 days of receiving your request.

For Facebook Users

If you signed in with Facebook and want to remove CatanForge's access to your Facebook data:

Go to Facebook Settings > Apps and Websites
Find CatanForge and click Remove
This removes Facebook's connection but does not delete your CatanForge account data. To delete your account data, follow Option 2 above.

For Google Users

If you signed in with Google and want to remove CatanForge's access to your Google account:

Go to Google Account > Security > Third-party apps
Find CatanForge and click Remove Access
This removes Google's connection but does not delete your CatanForge account data. To delete your account data, follow Option 2 above.

Local Browser Data

CatanForge also stores preferences in your browser's local storage (tile view mode, tutorial status, etc.). To clear this:

Open your browser's developer tools (F12)
Go to Application > Local Storage
Delete all entries for catanforge.com

Or simply clear your browser's cache and cookies for catanforge.com.
