1. Acceptance of Terms

By using CatanForge ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CatanForge is a free, fan-made board map generator and custom map builder for the Catan board game. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to CATAN GmbH or any official Catan entity.

3. User Accounts

• You may create an account using email/password, Google Sign-In, or Facebook Login.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

4. User Content

• You retain ownership of custom maps you create.
• By making a map public, you grant other users permission to view and use that map configuration.
• You agree not to create maps with offensive, abusive, or inappropriate names, descriptions, or rules.
• We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Submit malicious code, scripts, or content through any form or input
• Abuse the API or attempt to overload the Service
• Scrape or bulk-download content from the Service

6. Intellectual Property

CATAN, the CATAN logo, and all related game elements are trademarks of CATAN GmbH. CatanForge is an independent fan project and makes no claim to these trademarks. Tile artwork and site design are original works of CatanForge.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times or free from errors.

8. Limitation of Liability

CatanForge shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time (see Data Deletion).

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
